Artist’s Bio

Mary Weimer Green is a graduate of Ursuline College, Case Western Reserve University, and The Cleveland Institute of Art. As a professional printmaker, her artwork has been shown domestically at galleries across the United States, as well as internationally.

 

Her home and studio is in Avon Lake, Ohio, where she lives with her husband, Paul.
 

 

Artist Statement

 

In every life there are passages. Some are obvious as the passage into life, into death, or any number of milestones along the way. Less obvious perhaps are the passages of the mind, the will, and the soul. Each passage is barred until at last a key is displayed which unlocks new feeling or new insight. Most are subtle and their revelations may be small. My work is a response to the challenges presented by each passage in my life in in an attempt to discern direction.
